Can you answer this casino question (not tricky) ?

There was/is only one privately owned [not part of any government/monarchy] casino; sitting on privately-owned land (in a free country we all know of) in this part of the world (not any tricky, far-off land), that has caused quite a disturbance during a recent renovation to the point where local citizens weren't even able to carry out their otherwise casual business/employment as they have since the casino was first constructed... that I know of in this part of the world.

-------There's a ton of facts/clues in what I'm saying here. vbg

[Private (formally ----- ----) Land pertaining to this casino and country in which it sits on is a very, very small portion of land wholly owned by a single, private citizen/corporation... and although this exclusivity gives the owner substantial control over the property which is not part of the countrey it sits on, they still (as spelled out by the ----- grin ) "might" - but do not, sadly, have to fall within the jurisdiction of national and especially local governments -- including Gaming regs (which they ain't gonna mess with, no way grin ); big time... involving major changes in the destruction methods of obsolete chips and even the "dumping" of other gaming device that didn't follow regs]

1) Which casino is this?

1a) Do we know of any other casino such as this?
