...adopted him from the NSPCA on Tuesday. He is a Shiba Inu Mix & is 4 years old. He was found in a foreclosed house back in August & has been at the NSPCA since then. He is a GREAT dog. Even though they knew very little about him he was housetrained, comes to me when I call him & even sits on command. I took him to the vet as soon as we left the NSPCA & she said he is in great shape, other than he could put on a few pounds.

I have owned a number of dogs over the years, but it has been a while since the last one. I forgot how tough they have it. Here is Roscoe taking one of his many daily naps! The other picture is of him as we left the NSPCA. It is a no kill sanctuary, but I am sure he was very happy to be leaving.

If you live here in Las Vegas & are thinking of getting a dog please consider adopting from the NSPCA. They have a lot of great dogs there that are in need of a good home. If you do go there & decide to adopt I will pay your adoption fee up to $100! That is the most they charge. 3 things though...You must be a member & you need to reply to this post that you are adopting & I will meet you at the NSPCA the day you pick up your new dog & pay the fee.
