The CA beach amusement parlors

Great bunch of matches, Doug. I think the reason there's no listing for the Long Beach location is it was one of the arcades that were scattered along the beach communities in those days. They operated on the edge of legality but were not really considered gambling places.

Here's a cover from Venice, CA advertising the Place Bill Harrah had in those days. This was before he moved to Nevada and started his Tango parlor, and later his casino. I see some similarites to your Long Beach cover grin .
