The 1871 piece has been retooled around the edge - the original coin does not have this edge engraving. Thre other 5 Peseta piece does not have a date and I do not believe this was a Spanish coin but a piece made for some other use i.e. gaming. I wish I could get an opinion from someone in Spain like Carlos P.
Take another look at the pieces. If you can find these in a World coin book - please LMK. I have several old world coin catalogs but unfortunately they are stored away and I can not access them.
