Bank of Korea

Five years after Republic of Korea (South Korea) gained independence from Japan's colonial rule, ROK turned to the US for help in establishing a central bank.
Dr. A. I. Bloomfield from the Federal Reserve Bank of New York assisted in drafting the Bank of Korea Act.
Bank of Korea was established in May 1950.
The Federal Reserve Bank has led an example of printing currency throughout the world.
