Hi Eric grin

I LOVE LOVE LOVE your Montes Cover!! grin Thanks for sharing it grin .

Yep...just a couple of weeks ago we found this mirror, in Winnemucca just a few doors from where Montes Club was located. grin . We're trying to decide whether to get it resilvered...or maybe partially resilvered. The back is still attached to this one on two edges...the other two edges are unglued.
(the disassembled piece was from the Gem Bar)

Your Ship & Bottle cover is one I've always liked, because so few things are seen from that Club. It was located at 222 North Center Street, in Reno, from 1932-1940. In 1941 the property reopened as the 222 Club. Now (um, make that in 2000...when Dwayne Kling published "The Rise of the Biggest Little City" vbg ) the site is part of Harrah's Sports Casino on the east side of Center Street. grin

And if you don't have "The Rise of the Biggest Little City", you have to get it! Al Moe's book is good...but Kling's book is like an encyclopedia of Reno Casinos...the best!!
