It takes a lot more looking than it used to...there just doesn't seem to be as much stuff out there .

Then again, remembering the amount of stuff we used to find, I can't imagine trying to pack it in such a way that it would get through the airport today!

One time, probably 12-15 years ago, we stopped in a flea market in Apple Valley and found a vendor who had tons of Vegas ashtrays...for $2 each!! It was pretty early in our collecting days, when ashtrays were the main focus of our collection, and we bought about 50-75 of them...and lugged them home in our suitcases!! With a bunch of playing cards! Our muscles were really tested on that trip...!
