and they mix the locations...

The show is fine and it's entertaining but don't plan to see any accurate recreations.

In the pilot, as the characters were standing in front of the Golden Nugget, the Sands and the Dunes were immediately behind them. The three casinos were pretty much lined up. They did a nice job recreating different sites, they just plopped them down where it works for the story.

So it's fun to watch but just as a period piece. It ain't history.

Also my wife and I both remarked that in none of the interior casino scenes did anyone smoke. In one scene my wife pointed out a big ashtray with casino matches in it. But nobody was smoking. The casinos are "smoky" but it just appears mysteriously. They are following through on not glamorizing smoking on

That being said, I still like the show.
