My beloved BRUINS defaulted their way into the Pac-12 southern division championship with a record of 6-6 after a thrilling last second defeat at the hands of their cross-town rivals (okay...maybe with a final score of 50 to 0 it wasn't a least second defeat ). After holding the Oregon Ducks to a miniscule 49 points in the inaugural Pac-12 Championship game & with a record of 6-7, they also defaulted into a bowl game because they had the best record of the other "also-rans" which the Pac-12 was mandated to supply for a bowl game. Pretty pitiful that they were invited and played in any bowl game last year...and this from a life-long Bruin fan.
