Driving in NYC

I am a life long New Yorker. I even drove a cab in NYC when I was in college. Driving in NYC is tough, there are a lot of aggressive drivers (watch out for the cabs) and street conditions are poor, watch out for the pot holes and construction. Parking on the street is usually not possible in most areas, especially midtown. If you are adventurous, you can find a garage for your car for the day and get around by subway. If you want to drive, parking lots will be expensive. When I go into the city, I always use BESTPARKING.COM to get great discounts, 50% or more. Wish I was around tomorrow, but I'll be out on Long Island.
