The longer you wait the more beat up a drop chip is going to be. Drop chips get banged up more than any other chip. So, if you want one in newer condition you need to buy it when they first come out if you can.

Besides, most people buy chips to keep in their collection, not to resell. They don't want to see a chip they buy go down in value, but they won't lose any sleep over it. I know I would not.
