General Romulo L. Querubin, Mactan AirBase Commander, he died in the tennis court at the base - of fatigue and exhaustion, base doctors and private hospital doctors in Cebu City (10 minute away) could not help Muling.

Following your "military chip" gives me an idea.

I was very much involve with the Philippine Air Force, Mactan Airbase, Cebu, Philippines. Never been a gambler myself - not even bingo with my stint at the MAB did not pay attention to the games of chance they play except at the tennis court - big "sticks" [no typo just the sound of it] were involve. Played after office hours and whole day and into the night all tennis. I was in those C-130 with my tennis gear when we visited on inspection and "tours and detours" of the different bases in Mindanao.

My best and biggest deed to the "field officers" in the AFP (Armed Force of the Philippines: Army, Navy, Airforce and PC [Philippine Constabulary and Police]. Was to organized, developing courses, funding and implementing the program as Director. The MBP program was equavalent to the Masters of Arts in Public Policy - a two year program with thesis. The faculty was composed of some Generals from other commands, the National Defense College, University of the Philippines-Cebu and the University of San Carlos as Head of the Graduate School of Anthropology and Economics.

I awarded MAPP certificate and graduated 35 majors, colonels and two generals. Most of them were JUSMAG scholars - a joint US and Philippine government advanced Officers Training Course.

I will definitely call the MAB commander to inquire if they have some kind of chips in their parlor games. If not I will introduce them to make "military chips" like what you collect. Or maybe you already have some from MAB.

Most of them should still be around - I mean "alive and kicking".

I am a devoted follower of your "military chip parade".
