OK, it was actually 39 years ago, small 5000 watt AM in Ann Arbor, Michigan. I WANTED to be Jimmy Michaels (as that's my first and last, backwards), and they already had promos for a "Mike Stewart" so that's who I became for a while.

Got to change it at another station to "Joshua Schwartz" - newscaster was supposed to end news with, "Now, back to more music on the Joshua Schwartz Show." Go ahead... try it.

I shoulda had a coffee mug like Johnny Fever had at WKRP...
