If you hover over the link you will see it takes you to someplace that's NOT PayPal.

This scam is as old as the Internet. Scare people into a panicked response... your account will be closed. Etc. We go on the defensive, because we did nothing wrong and we're honest.

Recently the IRS has been sending me notices, UPS and FedEX are sending me Zipped files with my information on an undeliverable package, and I won the lottery somewhere that I never heard of. And of course, I have more dead relatives every month than I ever had live ones in a lifetime! Odd they all lived and died in Africa too.

Always hover over the link and see who's scamming us. Then if possible forward to the real site. Most of all, never click anything, download anything, unzip anything, and might as well just delete it and forget about it.

These people hijack a server, which makes them untraceable, but at least the security breach can be repaired and shut them down.
