the same as the Mustang. I had a '69 Mustang Grand'e that had a broken passenger window. The replacement window came from a Cougar.

Also, if I am not mistaken, it was this model of Cougar that had the sequential turn indicator tail lights. I loved that 3 blink turn signalling so much that I learned about sequencing circuits to convert my Mustang's tail lights into sequencing turn indicators. (Now I see that some of the newer Mustangs have sequential turn indicators.)
