FAKES and EBAY

One time I put a vase up for auction on ebay, I got an email from a ebay member that advised me that it was a fake and that I should not sell it.
I thanked the member and retooled my auction description to include that I was not an expert on the item and that please use your own judgement as to its authenticity. I truly knew nothing about the piece, It happened to be a knockoff of a Roseville vase. The member said that they were part of a Roseville collectors club that if I didn't take the auction down ebay would. I did not believe them. The next day it got yanked. I would guess that if auctions start getting pulled it would discourage more remakes and fakes being offered. I know it is kind of a can of worms with fakes but I will sure not be selling any more vases. vbg
