No TV advertising in the early days, and even radio advertising was limited. I'm not sure it would have even been acceptable to advertise a casino. So Pappy made do with road signs. I remember seeing them on the highways on our family trip in 1947 between Missouri and Colorado. Harold's Club or Bust! There were over 2000 signs, and were found in all but four states.

Surprisingly, I was unable to find a photo of a highway sign on the web. Maybe you have one to post?
