....going around that The Villages, Florida, had the highest rate, per capita, of VD among senior residents--no wonder with all those chick-magnet golf carts running around town. When I first heard the rumor I ran right up there to see what seniors with VD look like and how they act. They all looked and acted okay to me. The rumor floated around for awhile and was found to be untrue and was put to bed. I often wondered if the residents there were proud to be thought of in that way and wore the scandalous rumor like a badge of honor.
