... counterfeit slugs can be legitimately sold or auctioned?

I found probably a (approx.) 100 lb. bag of them in one of Bob Stupak's homes that were taken from his Vegas World machines. Some of them appear to be real tokens (probably just well made slugs) and some are just token sized blanks. I've been hesitant to sell them as it might be illegal to do so. Any insight would be appreciated.
