Antique gambling chips 1860 to 1910. These chips are rare museum quality American gaming artifacts. Each one is hand scrimshawed and a work of art with no two chips or sides exactly alike. The numerals stand for dollars 5 = $5 and 25 = $25. These chips were used in the 1800’s by wealthy gamblers on riverboats, in saloons, gambling halls and private games. Each chip came from a set of chips that held up to 1200 chips or more. There are 100’s of known designs and this is just a few. Collecting helps preserve historical gaming history.
