I've seen the drilled version sell for over $200. For this one, it's just timing... timing is everything on eBay. It depends who's in the market for this chip at the current time and who's actually seen the auction (note that Don missed it).

I've never seen an undrilled version of this chip sell at auction, and I've been recording them for over 10 years. It's a very rare chip and I'll stand by the $600-$700 value in TCR... I don't think that this sale indicates the need for a change. In fact, I'd bet that if this chip would appear in one of Doug Saito's auctions it would go in that general "X" value range.
