Stanly is the person who found the 7,000 Harolds Club H.C.E.; Table numbers in Hex Roulettes and allowed me to introduce them into our hobby, of which many were the "missing link" to the series according to Howdy Herz' article on the series. The boxes of chips were shipped from Reno to a woman's card club in IL, in the 1950s.. and remained there prior to Stanly's find in the 1990s. One of the shipping lables is in Howdy's Harolds Club Collection.

Stanly was born in Brooklyn and received his college degree from Penn State. As a WWII veteran, Stanly was a POW for 5-months following his capture during The Battle of the Bulge.
