Super-nice lamp. Congrats on the find..!

Years ago a collector in Germany sent me a picture of a 'dice wall' made with bricks of dice.

The sculpture consisted of dice bonded together to form solid, brick-sized blocks and then each block (brick) stacked in a running-bond layout approx 16-ft wide and 8-ft tall. I remember a 2-ft diagonal return at each end.

I later remember reading notes that the sculptor had no idea as to how a black light would affect his work and after seeing the results he claimed he would have done things differenty had he known (lighting was behind the wall).

The guy must have really liked dice..! vbg

There's a simila story about a sculpture made of plastic jetons in a town square somewhere in France. The towns' folks had no idea what to do with the obsolete chips -- but the scultor did.. vbg
