I like going to Spinetti's too & will drop in on most trips to LV.
He has an extensive collection of older / obsolete chips displayed in the back of the store.

However, you need to know your chip values. The chips are typically marked at full retail prices, not the better price points you can get from him at the annual convention. (He does have overhead to pay on the store.)

If Mike is in the store (rarely) or one of his family members, they may be able to work with you on prices better than the marked values. But if it's the regular employees waiting on you, it's been my experience that prices are firm as marked. My suggestion is, tell them up front that you're a club member, and ask if someone's there that can negotiate prices, if you see something you like.
