Another auction chip from last week

I'm not really an ivory collector, but this engraved (or scrimshawed) chip caught my eye in the auction. I'd appreciate any comments from ivory (or just antique poker chip) collectors. I don't see it in Seymour, although it's similar to IE-WO or IE-WS except for the area that is colored.

The grain looks like ivory to me. There is no visible nerve hole. One side seems to have been cleaned or smeared, as it doesn't have the same orange-dyed center as the other side. The chip edges are fully dyed orange. Diameter is 38 mm. There are slight variations in the engraving from side to side so I don't think it is engraved by a machine.

The seller is Kelly in Wyoming, who has offered lots of very good antique chips over the years but made no claim as to the material of this lot.
