I am sure you would!!

• The family (descendants) had no knowledge of the crime.
• It was done prior to the deadline. And recovered after it was legal.

Whose probate? The suspect or the fictitious person in the grave?

The family/heirs believe that the government will find a way to seize it. Much like the man who found a shipwreck off the coast of Florida where he was entitled to 50% of the salvage rights (tons of gold artifacts). He lost a son due to a diving accident then the remainder of salvage claim because the US Gov’t and the Florida Gov’t were locked in battle. He ultimately went bankrupt waiting for a decision- For that he can thank a bunch of lawyers! No thanks on a complete answer, I am not ready to go bankrupt! LOL
