WEEK 7

These games are very tough! It is still very early in the season and the Trophy could be won by anybody. There is some great poker being played and each week the season gets more exciting with the standings so close. Players with no points should keep playing as many tourneys as they can to increase your chances for points because anything can happen and it is very early in the season. There is still time to get in the games if you are not signed up and you would like to play please let me know.

Next Sunday September 4th will be the last Sunday before we change the games day to Wednesdays starting September 4th so next week we will have two chances to score more points. The Wednesday games will start Wednesday September 7th at 21:21ET and I hope this will not be a problem for anybody but I can not see how we can start any earlier with work and starting any later will cause more problems I am sure. The change will no doubt cause problems for some but that can't be helped. Sorry if this causes any inconvenience.

IMPORTANT!!! The games that have been previously scheduled on Sundays I will need to CANCEL each Sunday as they are announced and you will get an email for both the cancellation and the announcement. For now just remember we play both next Sunday the 4th and next Wednesday the 7th.

TROPHY FUNDS: Chips so far give us a total of $84.50 in Trophy Funds. The 2 chips I sold totaled $40 and the $1 & $5 Gold Spike chips donated by Robbie R sold for $17.50 and his $25 Gold Spike sold this weekend for $27. The $100 Gold Spike chip had 338 views with 5 watchers but no bidders. I think the $100 chip should be sent back to Robbie R with a BIG THANK YOU!
The cost of the Trophy is $26.95+18.09 shipping total $45.04 PLUS there will be an added cost to engrave the winners name and Poker Stars screen name on it. Total should be about $50 but I am waiting to order the trophy to avoid the extra engraving cost. I had thought that we might be able to get chips for each player but I think it makes more sence to save the remaining $39.46 for next seasons trophy.
