I once sold a very rare billiard book to a collector in NC, who talked my ear off as to how I should package it; telling me all that can happen thru the postal service.

What I'm getting at; it seems as though the seller who you bought the chip from had no idea as to how fragile it was and most likely thought a plain paper envelope woud serve well.

Sure is a nice chip.
