Also looking at a new online auction project

for just bb readers, club members, mailing list subscribers and other known customers.

Im going to try and create pages where I can list items, and then bidders can enter bids against all lots and submit in go.
It wont update dynamically like ebay, but will use incremental bidding. First try out will be an experiment. Easier to run than on the chipboard, more customers, no fees so everything will be free shipping.
Only 'rule' I may have to implement is that each bidder can only place one bid per item in the last 12 hours (or 6 hours or whatever), otherwise I would have to factor in auction end extensions of, say, 10 minutes, if a bid is received in the last 10 minutes, and this might not bode well depending on my sleep times grin

As I said, 1st run would be an experiment.
