Like everone else has commented ,,, it seems to be a common practice to re-use bubble mailers. I do it all the time ... especially when mailing a single low-value chip. I do staple the open end with 4 or 5 staples before securing with clear packing tape. There is no way a chip can escape by accident using that method.

For the $1.50 item, I wouldn't worry too much about losing an unsatisfied customer since he/she didn't pay extra for insurance.

I re-use Paul, never had a problem!!!
I re-use(?) mailers all the time.....
