My Collection: Part 2
In Response To: My Collection: Part 1 ()

Here are the $1000 Denominated Chips which was the main goal of my collection:

my very first chip for "chipping" purposes, and what a fine looking chip it is!

Very nice, sharp edges, love the yellow and the hot stamp. Wonder what tournament this was used in.

This could have been a great chip. but instead i am very disappointed every time i look at it. More for the fact that I should have known better. As was pointed out to me previously even in the picture you can tell the edges are round like a bicycle tire. Being that it's from Columbia, and seems a bit older, I'm trying to justify it in my head as a well traveled well used chip with a long history! haha.

This is another great looking chip, and VERY Vibrant colors!! This was picked up via a TCB donation thread.

For now that's all the $1000's I have.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now we come to some miscellaneous chips that i've just started picking up as traders, most are pretty dirty, but it seems that's not an issue with most collectors...

My favorite of the miscellaneous chips. Beautiful deep colors, intricate design on the mold. purple insets contrast very nicely with the brown. An A+ to the designer of this chip

This is from the same casino as the chip above, and it's nice, but i'm partial to the $1 chip. Although I do like the Harvey's written in the mold

This next batch of chips were all picked up in an auction of miscellaneous chips from Missouri...

While dirty this chip at least has nice edges, and will probably look very nice once cleaned.

This chip has seen some use for sure, but stands on edges with no problems.

Edges are worn here, will not stand on side, i really like the star design, when cleaned and in an album i won't mind looking at this one.

Another Harrah's, this one in rougher shape than it's predecessor. Will not stand on side. ALTHOUGH, i managed to get it to stand for a couple of seconds after a good deal of time!

I have 2 of these Ameristar chips, These are nice looking chips. If they were to be cleaned they would stand out nicely i think.

A grand opening chip! Very nice looking. As with all the others if cleaned would look great. stands on side easily. Asside from the Harvey's chips, this is my favorite of the miscellaneous.

Then after I got going a bit, I realized the pros were right on 2 counts....

#1 $1000 denominations are not easy to find
#2 my preferences will change often.

So I still want to focus on $1000 denominated chips, that will be a main crux of my searching, I've also decided to start picking up chips, that commemorate famous people, groups, etc.... so I picked up some chips along those lines as well....

Pavarotti! An amazing singer, look how young he was! I would have given anything to have heard him live once. Perfect edges

Another awesome performer, totally different genre! I actually did see him live in MSG a few months ago! Awesome chip, crisp edges, great pic.

The best comedian ever. Classy, and funny, and tasteful. Such a rare breed! All these chips in great condition, with perfect edges.

What a goofy picture though. Only he could almost pull that off!

My favorite, this is Cosby as I remember him!
