NCR - New Table Games

I was at the Wild Rose Casino in Clinton, Iowa Friday and played 2 games I had never seen before. I enjoyed playing both, so I thought I would see if anyone else had seen them anyplace else.

First was Silverado Stud. It is an off-shoot of three card poker. You are dealt 4 cards and you set your cards with 3 in one pile and 1 in the other. The dealer has 2 cards and you use those to make 5 card and 3 card poker hands. The 5 card hand has a second bet you can make after the first dealer card is turned. 5 card hand pays on Jacks or better and 3 card hand pays on any pair or better. It was alot of fun with others at the table, but moved way too fast if you were one on one with the dealer.

The second game was a three card blackjack game. I tried to google it, but what came up was not what they had. Basically, you were playing blackjack against the dealer with 6 or 8 deck shoe. The first two cards were dealt all around and then the fun began. To get a third card you either had to double down or make a three card poker bet or both. the dealer could only take one card and had to stay on soft 16 or better. So basically here is a hand that I was involved in:

Cards dealt were:
Me: 4H 6H
player2 : 3C 3S
Dealer: 7S

I bet the 3 card bet and doubled the BJ bet drew a 5H (Straight Flush (15 to 1) and 15 for BJ)
Player 2 bet just his 3 card bet and drew a 10 (no 3 poker hand 16 for BJ)
Dealer turned a 2 and drew a 10 for a 19.

I won the 3 card poker, but lost the blackjack. Player 2 lost everything. Was great fun.
