I believe that if I scan it the chip would look just like any other chip. Unless your holding it in your hand you really can't tell. All of the parts seem to be accounted for and only half of the center seems to be popping out if that makes any sence. This may be a problem like you were saying where the blue inner ring that holds the coin in is whats actually defective. On the one side the blue ring doesn't budge but on the other when you press on the coin the blue ring starts coming out and the coins want to fall out. I'm assuming their is no way to fix this and it would be fine if it was for my personal collection but I had wanted to trade it since I only collect Las Vegas chips. Oh well, I guess I will just hang on to it. Dan R-8220

P.S. Below is a picture I borrowed from the Chip Guide to show you what chip it is and what the blue center ring is that I am talking about.
