I talked to Dean last year at convention at length about the table. He didn't indicated one way or another if it was still intact. I understand he brought it to the convention the year after he bought it at auction. He told me it was just too heavy to bring every year. However, after looking at his vast collection of brass cores, some of which I'd never seen, I doubt he needed anything for his collection that was embedded in Sharkey's Table. If he has a booth at the convention this year, ask him to see some of the chip he brought from his collection. You'll be impressed. Ask to see the salesman sample kit that contains Reliable samples ½ of normal thickness to save weight.
