These used in Cuba too
In Response To: Clarification & Information ()

I just picked up these chips. The seller, who lives in Australia, says he picked them up in Cuba. I believe him.
¶ the X chips are pretty rare, I believe. I bought one in 1998 and was told then that it was Cuban. I've never seen another till now. Unusual design of the X.
¶ the others are common generic inlaid chips in the book, but an expert Cuban collector says they were very popular in Cuba. Often these generic American-made inlaid chips had special hot-stamp imprints on them to identify them with a particular club.

Oh, true -- that Majestic chip has been used in Cuba a lot.
