Allan, good questions! I hope this helps...
In Response To: chipguide question ?????? ()

The ChipGuide is a work in-progress. Nearly every day about 100 new items are being added by the several ChipGuide Admins. Nevada is but one of the gaming jurisdictions present in the ChipGuide, and also potentially, the largest repository of items.

Of course the ChipGuide has evolved from a Native American and Riverboat casinos chip gallery, as first created by the Late Greg Susong. Hidden within the ChipGuide was another love of Greg's and that was $1 Nevada chips. Greg's ChipGuide map of the United States permitted linkage to his Native American and Riverboat database of scans and also to other websites maintained by other chippers.

When Greg passed away, the ChipGuide was donated to the ccgtcc's Museum of Gaming History. Charles Kaplan, with a great deal of labor and time converted Greg's efforts into the present ChipGuide and mustered a group of volunteers to begin populating the database with scans of chips, tokens, TITOs, post cards, match books and many other casino collectibles as provided by the volunteers and also as submitted by an army of collectors World-wide!

In setting up the MOGH's ChipGuide, it was designated as an element of the "Greg Susng Digital Media Center". So named in honor of Greg's early-on efforts to bring the collecting community together via the Internet. But the point here is that the seeds of the ChipGuide were the Native American casino chips, Riverboat casino chips and the $1 Nevada casino chips. And while Greg had many $1 Nevada chips in the database, they are but a tip of the iceberg when it comes to Nevada chips, and it will only be a matter of time until what you are looking for will be added to ChipGuide.

Sorry for the long answer, but I figured the background information was better than just saying, "sorry, that data is not yet available!" vbg

Everyone should feel free to utilize the submission element of ChipGuide and send scans. Here is the link: http://www.themogh.org/cg_submission2.php
