Tom made the "SHIP IT NORTH!" personal chip because
"This chip was designed by Debbie Meister ... It represents the two things in gaming that I enjoy the most, poker and craps.
The suits on the cards are maple leaves (for Canada) and “Ship it North” refers to a winning pot and for chips – ship them north."

Tom Munro is planning to climb Mount Everest to raise funds for MS … Tom wrote to me and stated:

“I have a new personal made by Chipco to help raise funds for the MS Climb to Everest and I would like to promote them .... to the chipper community.
Because many of the chippers are based outside of Canada, any donations they made would not be tax deductable.
By providing a chip, they get something in exchange for the donation, and all of the proceeds from the sale of the chips goes to the Climb."
