Chips from Texas road trip

Barb and I took a road trip from Cincinnati down through Ky, Tenn, Miss, Louisiana, Southern Arkansas. Texas, Central Arkansas and back. We were only gone 10 days but, saw a lot and hit a great many antique shops along the way. I think the most interesting chips I found were the Ridge Top. Here's what I have so far on them...... I picked up a small chip holder in a Goodlettsville, Tenn. antique shop. The lady said they were from the estate of a recently deceased Tennessee state trooper. He was 92. About 10 days later, passing through the same area, I showed the chips to a guy in a yard sale near Nashville. He said there was a town called Ridge Top just a few miles from where I bought the chips. I had to go there and see what I could find out. I showed the chip to a lady in an antique shop in Ridge Top. She was fascinated by it and told me she had heard of a place near the town, long ago, that was a speakeasy and had gambling. She wanted to find out what she could for me. She called several people she knew. One of them was a 79 year old lady that worked at the city hall at one time and was now the president of their local historical society. She said,"Yes", there was a place called Pickles near town back in the 1930s and 40s. It was a nice place. it was a popular club/speakeasy with liquor and a gambling hall was attached. The building was long gone but, there was a picture of the place in the town hall. Unfortunately there was a wedding taking place there and I couldn't see it. She wanted one of the chips for the societies' display and told me she would get me a photo and any history, hopefully names and dates, about the place and send it my way. I offered to pay for any expense involved but, they said for a few of the chips, that would be more than enough payment. I can't wait to see what shakes out on this search.
