It is Wayne Thompson that was in Moscow several times - visited most ot the Moscow casinos - I got several snappers from him when I started my collection with snappers in 2000.

Later on there was a travelling American who frequent Moscow and St. Petersburg casinos - there were 5 of us here in the US whom he supplied thru a lady friend from South Carolina - I don't want to name names. He would send us scans of chips he could get then we order how many of each - send the money to the lady we get the Russian chips from Paul Sax. Paul S sold all his Russian chips at the convention.

The 50 or more chips that I have from Russian are very rare and hard to get - 3 Russian auctioner are trying hard to get hold of them, but I told them only to trade with snappers, I got some trade now and then. One told me that he has not even seen most of them in the casinos - that was before they closed down.

Last December 2010 was my best year for snappers from Russia and former USSR - I got a "lot" of 96 snappers from one group.

Have you visited the casinos inside the tunnel of the train station? Right at the platform. Or casinos inside the flea market nearby Red Square? Which was bombed by terrorists.

Funny I have friends who are professor of architectural engineering in Ukraine whose study specializes in the building or structures of casino - I asked for chips they have not been inside the casino.
