What If I wanted To Sell...

my Hard Rock Vegas chip collection. I am talking about every chip the HR has released since
opening day. Okay so I only have one set of the Derby chips, and I do not have a house $1000
chip. But it does include three different house $500 chips.

What would be the best venue to sell the whole collection? Ebay? Should I list them with
one of our NIS members. Another question I have, is this maybe a bad time to be trying
to sell off a collection?

I started collecting HR chips about 11 years ago. My collecting has always been about having
fun and meeting new chippers. That really hasn't changed. What has changed is that raising
my three year old grandaughter ( a daunting task at my tender age of 62 ) and trying to
manage my 90 year old father by getting him into a assisted living home, working with his VA
benefits, trying to find and then finish his taxes, etc. etc.. Then there is my wife who is struggleing
witn MS, my Heroin addicted daughter, also my special needs daughter....Are you beginning to get a
clear picture yet. I am tired and have little time or energy left to devote to any of my hobbies
like chipping. Of course seems I have time to run two big poker nights in my newly built poker room.
Got to have something to distract me from the real world.

Bottom line is my chipping hobby is kind of running out of gas. Just testing the waters as to should I
sell off my HR chips at this time or not.

Don't even have time to post on this site much anymore, or to read the posts as I always enjoyed
doing in the past.

BTW..No complaining here. I run a great optical business here and have a great staff and great business
partner. Great friends, warm house, a faithfull russian blue cat, good food. Did I mention my heroin
addicted daughter? Really life is great. My take on life has always been the same " They can kill ya but they
can't eat ya!"

Speaking of " kill ya"....The movie "To Kill The Irishman" was just released last week. Some of you know
that my biological father was James Licavoli, former Godfather of the Cleveland mob. It was he that orderd
the hit that finally took down Danny Greene ( the Irishman). So Licavoli was played in the movie by Tony
Li Bianco ( man I think that is the correct spelling ) So there is my small slice of a claim to fame. I even got
my name in the book ( To Kill The Irishman by Rick Porello).

How that for catching you up on athe life and times of Jim Litnar in Ohio? Too much information maybe???

Good nite, it's late.
