This is Fremont Street in 1943, looking west. What was the Apache then, in 1951 became the Horseshoe. The Boulder Club was next door (West of the 'Shoe...towards the Plaza in current terms grin ). I think it was 1960 that the Boulder Club closed and was taken over by the Horseshoe. Today, of course, Binion's covers the whole block. grin
