It's happened to me at three conventions where I was selling super-rare Nevada (and not knowing the current market) where Mel Jung offered me well above what I was asking... and another time when I offered a rare Atlantic City RI Roulette not knowing the actual value, Jerry offered me way more than what I was asking.
