Very rich history of casinos in Italy.
In Response To: Italian Chips research ()

There was even a casino in Taormina.

Just after WWII casinos with all sorts of licenses and authorizations had been opening up in the frontier area around Saint Vincent in order to compete with the French casinos reopening, and in only a few short months they had been closed down by the central government; except Saint Vincent Casino remained open.
