"The FIRST (organizing) convention took place at the ANA convention in Cincinnati, Ohio on July 23, 1988. The FIRST 5 conventions took place at the American Numismatic Association meetings! The FIRST true CC>CC convention took place at the Aladdin Hotel, Las Vegas, in May of 1993!"

The club held scheduled informal regional meetings/get togethers to promote the club at the ANA Conventions from 1988 to 1992 and after. The duration of these annual meetings at ANA Conventions were seldom more than one hour or so because another meeting for a different group was scheduled for the same room following our meeting. Even after we began to conduct our own highly successful conventions in Las Vegas ... the first one in 1993 ... the club continued to hold informal regional meetings around the country during the ANA conventions.
