As author of "Chippin Away at the Gambling Scene of Saratoga" and having been in every one of the Casinos except for the original Brook,as it was before my time, I read with some interest the history and account of Rileys. It was reasonably accurate except The Night Club and Restaurant was Delmonicos....no "t". and Lucky Lucianos monitary interest was not invoved in Rileys...rather it was the backing through Frank Costello for the Chicago Club located in the City. I reluctantly questioned my cousin Patty Rox...the Chief of Police of Saratoga Springs at the time about some of this and he told me" Even tho he is serving time in Dannemora State Prison for "White Slavery" he is bankrolling through his pisons Frank Costello and Joe Adonis his "horseroom....and if people claimed to see his pesence...it would only be possible "if Dannemora were giving out day passes. I just happen to have framed on my wall...the only known Chicago Club chips ,known to exist as it was Lucianos ultmatum that "the only Chips to leave the Chicago Club would be in the pockets of a dead man". He wanted no possible evidence to be used against him should there ever be a legal case involving himself, the Police and the Chicago Club. They came to light only when the remains of the Club were renovated for future use many years after the "good years"
