ALL reasons against changing the name of our organization. If my memory serves me correctly, I believe we would have to go back to the IRS and possibly be subject to a renewed scrutiny of what we are, what we do, and how we do it--not that we are doing anything wrong. NO, NO, NO, NO, NO name change. Too much was invested in getting us the coveted 501(c)(3) status. I was a Club officer when that status was obtained, and it was NO EASY TASK for the tenacious Eric Rosenblum to whom we are forever indebted and greatful.
