Short story as to how we came to ID these chips.

Having known of these chips prior to their ID, I thought of writing an article about casino chip collecting in "COLLECTORS" MART" -- a UK based magazine; where I explained I was searching for an ID without any luck, especially alerting collectors in London as what they were. There was no response regarding the chips. Then one day I get a letter from Ian Sutton (about 15 years ago) who I have been trading with... and he told me that he was reading a vintage copy of "THE SUNDAY TIMES" and came by the NEW BRIGHTON TOWER name and their connection in casino operations. I sent Ian's info out to those who needed to know (like the CHIP RACK folk grin ) and then Michael Knapp got on it right away and listed the clubs they were involved with back then. Though the jetons have popped up later on, I'm still sararching for the plaques... vbg
