Back then 1,000,000 and 2,000,000 Frf plaques were

~~~ common and about 15 years later after monetary reform, every 100Frf became 1 New franc (casinos had a choice of either revalueing the piece by slashing the 000s or simply restriking the new value on the rim/field of the chip -- or ordering new inventory, of course). In the 1980s there were even 10,000,000 Frf in play... at the tune of 17-cents per Frf.
