wanted Palms, 2009, $200 Statue of Liberty!...

Help is needed, please.

As I do every year, as the ccgtcc OTY Chairman, I look for a volunteer (or group of volunteers) to donate the winning ccgtcc Silver Strike of the Year item to the ccgtcc's Permanent Collection of All Past OTY Winners.

Last year the ccgtcc was very fortunate in having the 2009 ccgtcc SSOTY winner (the $200, Four Queens, Castle in the Sky) donated to the ccgtcc by 808davo (and another) and I thank them, again!!

This year, I am looking for this strike:

Ideally, someone with this strike is willing to step forward and donate it to the ccgtcc. Keeping in mind that the ccgtcc is a not-for-profit, tax-exempt organization, thereby making the donation a favorable tax event (but please consult your tax preparer for details). Again, that would be the ideal situation and very much preferred. However....

In the absence of a White Knight this year, I will do what I have done in the past, which is to seek out the item of need, make an arrangement to purchase it (hopefully at a favorable price) and then building a consortium of collectors to equally buy a share (or shares) and then the "consortium" donates the strike to the ccgtcc.

But, before going to the 'consortium' route, I would like to give the sole donator route a try first. So, if you have this strike, and would consider donating to the ccgtcc for the Permanent Collection of All Past OTY Awards, please contact me at OTY@CCGTCC.com at your earliest convenince. And, in possible preperation for the 'consortium route', if you have this strike available for sale, then please feel free to contact me about pricing. If you do, I am not negotiating price, please, just tell me your best selling offer.

Thank you,

Jim Follis,
ccgtcc OTY Chairman
