That's a pretty good price, John. When you figure that Las Vegas has about $70 in fees of one type or another for a week's rental, the rental companies don't have much room to discount.

Travelocity will give you a chart of a dozen or more different comany rates, but the best I see today is Budget at $114 a week, plus the mandatory $70 in fees.

Rates do change, though. I reserved a car in Orlando a couple of months ago and when I checked this week, I got the same car, same company(Avis) for $100 less for 6 days. Best to make your reservation early to assure a car, and then check a week or two before you leave to see if anything has changed. Fortunately, there is still no penalty for cancelling a rental car reservation.
